About the Journal

The Asian Journal of Contemporary Legal Studies (AJCLS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published under the Centre for Professional and Legal Development (CPLD), Asian Institute of Law. The journal provides a platform for high-quality research on contemporary legal issues with a focus on regional and global perspectives. 

Objectives of the Journal

Promote original and high-quality legal research

Contribute to the development of legal literature in Asia and beyond 

Encourage scholarly debate on contemporary legal issues

Provide a platform for academicians, researchers, and practitioners

Scope of the Journal

AJCLS covers a wide range of contemporary legal subjects including constitutional law, human rights, international law, corporate law, criminal law, environmental law, technology law, and interdisciplinary legal studies.

Call for Papers

 AJCLS invites original research papers, articles, case comments, and book reviews from academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, and students on contemporary legal issues.

Author Guidelines

Submissions must be original and unpublished

Word limit: 3000–7000 words (including footnotes)

Citation style: OSCOLA / Bluebook (as applicable)

Manuscripts should be submitted in MS Word format

Plagiarism must be below the acceptable institutional limit

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity.

 The AIOL Students Law Journal (ASLJ) is a student-oriented academic journal that provides a platform for law students to publish research papers, articles, and case comments. It aims to encourage research culture and scholarly writing among students.
